Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the ItemOrbit mobile application, website, account, synchronization, sharing, and subscription services.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account, accessing ItemOrbit, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms of Use and the ItemOrbit Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions may be sent to itemorbit@gmail.com.
Your account
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your email and device, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.
Your content
You keep ownership of inventory names, notes, locations, loan details, and other content you enter. You give ItemOrbit permission to store, process, display, synchronize, back up, and share that content only as needed to operate the service and follow the sharing choices you make.
Shared lists
Family organizers decide who may access each shared list. People with access can view shared content and may be able to update or delete shared records through the app. Do not place sensitive information in a shared list unless you intend every authorized member to see it. Organizers are responsible for managing their invited members.
Subscriptions and billing
ItemOrbit offers Free, Personal, and Family access. Paid subscriptions are processed by Google Play and renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the renewal date. Prices, taxes, refund rights, billing dates, trial availability, and currency may vary by region and are shown before purchase. Deleting an ItemOrbit account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful or malicious content, reverse engineer protected portions except where law permits, abuse invitations, evade plan limits, or use ItemOrbit to violate another person's rights.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep ItemOrbit reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Features may be improved, changed, limited, or discontinued. Material changes affecting paid service will be handled as required by applicable law and Google Play policies.
Important records
ItemOrbit is an organization aid, not a certified appraisal, insurance inventory, legal record, or emergency backup system. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose and verify important loan, warranty, tax, insurance, or ownership records with the appropriate professional or provider.
Ending use
You may stop using ItemOrbit or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, fraud, or legal requirements. Sections that logically continue after termination—including ownership, payment obligations, limitations, and dispute provisions—remain effective.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, ItemOrbit is provided “as is” and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. ItemOrbit is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as ItemOrbit changes. The effective date will be revised when an updated version is published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where allowed by law. Contact itemorbit@gmail.com with questions.
